ESTHEME Cashmere is Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified, which provides an opportunity for farmers to showcase their expertise, and a way for brands and consumers to be sure that the wool products they buy and sell are consistent with their values.
The RWS is a global standard that addresses the welfare of sheep or goats and the land they graze on. In order for SFA-certified ESTHEME cashmere to be truly sustainable, the entire system is examined. This includes environmental impact, farmer welfare and animal welfare. This principle of holistic sustainability is at the heart of nutag and at the heart of the brand's approach.
