1. Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase goods from us online, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This includes items that are unsuitable, do not fit, or you simply no longer want.

To cancel, please contact info@lizardfashion.co.uk with your order number and details of the item(s).

Once you notify us, you must return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.

2. Condition of Returned Goods

You may handle and inspect goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you would reasonably be permitted to do in a shop.

Goods should not be used, worn or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary. Where applicable, footwear should only be tried on indoors.

If goods are returned in a condition that reduces their value because they have been used, worn, damaged, soiled or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund where permitted by law. The deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and may be up to 100% where the goods have no remaining value.

3. Items Excluded from Cancellation Rights

Certain goods may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where a specific legal exception applies. These may include:

·         Jewellery and other items intended to be worn in direct contact with the skin, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and body jewellery, where the relevant health or hygiene exception applies;

·         personalised or bespoke items;

·         sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken; and

·         other goods falling within a specific statutory exception.

Any exclusion relating to jewellery or other hygiene-sensitive goods will only apply where permitted by applicable law and, where relevant, where the item has been removed from sealed or protective packaging.

Gift cards and credit notes are non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrect, please contact info@lizardfashion.co.uk with your order number and, where appropriate, photographs or details of the problem.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Where applicable law requires us to bear reasonable return costs, we will do so.

5. Return Costs

For change-of-mind or unsuitable returns, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where we have informed you of this before purchase.

For items valued at £50 or less, you may arrange the return yourself. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.

For items valued at more than £50, please contact us before returning the goods. We may arrange a tracked return service on your behalf. Where you agree to bear the cost, the direct cost of the return may be deducted from your refund, where permitted by law. We will tell you the applicable cost before arranging the return.

6. Refunds

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the amount required by applicable law once the goods have been received, or where applicable once you have provided satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back.

The refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are only required to refund the equivalent standard delivery cost, where permitted by law.

Where permitted by law, we may deduct an amount reflecting any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary.

Payment Processing Costs

Where you cancel an order or return goods under your statutory cancellation rights, and we incur genuine, reasonable and non-refundable third-party payment-processing costs directly relating to the original transaction, we may deduct those costs from any refund only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any deduction will be limited to the actual non-refundable cost incurred and will not constitute an arbitrary cancellation, administration or processing fee.

Where we intend to make such a deduction, we will inform you of the amount and the reason before processing the refund.

We will normally issue refunds using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law.

We will not charge a separate administration or processing fee for exercising a statutory cancellation right.

7. Refund Timescales

Refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timescale. Depending on your bank, card issuer or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

8. Sale and Discounted Items

Sale, promotional and discounted items have the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.

9. Exchanges

We may offer an exchange for defective or damaged goods, subject to your statutory rights.

10. Gifts

If an item was purchased as a gift and is returned under a statutory cancellation right, any refund will normally be made to the original purchaser using the original payment method.

11. International Orders

Goods shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, these charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

These charges are generally not collected by us at checkout. The carrier or customs authority may contact you to collect applicable charges before delivery. Customers are responsible for checking the applicable import requirements and potential charges in their country before ordering.

If an international shipment is refused or returned because the buyer declines to pay applicable customs duties, taxes or other import charges, the buyer may be responsible for reasonable costs incurred by us as a result, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

International Returns

If you cancel or return an international order, any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees or other destination-country charges paid by you are not normally refundable by Lizard Fashion. You should contact the relevant customs authority, tax authority or carrier to determine whether such charges may be refundable or recoverable.

Any refund due from Lizard Fashion will be processed in accordance with your applicable statutory rights and this Refund & Returns Policy.

Where you are responsible for returning the goods, you must return them at your own expense within 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.

Any payment-processing costs that may be deducted from a refund are addressed in Section 6 (Refunds) and apply where permitted by applicable law, including where an order is cancelled before dispatch.

Nothing in this section affects or limits any statutory rights you may have.
